Who needs wallpaper when you can have a wall of books as your backdrop? I love the styling of these shelves; adding personal items among the books, as well as layering in art take you from a library feel to a cozy personalized homey feel in an instant.
Now that the wedding is pretty much planned I have returned to my obsession- interiors! And I’m itching to get our newly wed pad squared away. Most people start with the parts of the house that guests see, but I have always believed that most important space to get settled is the master bedroom- starting and ending your day in a room that isn’t chaotic does amazing things for your mental health. Trust me.
I love cooking with fresh herbs; I love vertical gardens- why have I not thought of this before? Vertical kitchen herb garden- an absolute must!
Surprise! I love little surprises like this painted cabinet interior or wallpapering the back wall of a bookcase. It is the little touches and details that make a home…
I just love classics done in a modern twist. Barbie pink leather gives this foursome of chairs a fresh new life and who can resist the bold ikat that shares the same pink accent.
More glitter vases and peonies! A little Monday morning DIY
Christmas is undoubtably my favorite holiday, but this year I am torn on how to decorate. I tend to lean to the “more is always better” philosophy when it comes to Christmas decorating- it is a no fail technique if you have a good collection of holiday decorations. Being newly engaged has me thrown off and distracted with pinks and peonies and decorations that are thoughtful, delicate and intentional. Well why not give those lovely wedding ideas some holiday flair??? I’m loving the twist!
I just love the juxtaposition of the exposed brick with reclaimed wood shelves against the more formal and traditional aspects of the furniture and trim work.
Hello Sexy! So elegant- what a first impression this foyer makes! Love the balance of uber feminine with the pink chairs and the super rich wall color.
Loving this eclectic elegant dining room- not too fussy while still nodding to traditional… And that light fixture!!! OhhhLaaaLaaa
